Welcome to our "Meet The Team" series, where we're introducing you to some of the amazing people who run the day-to-day operations here at Berlin Skin. It's not everyday that we get to know exactly where our dollars are going - but when you purchase our products, you're supporting a small, family owned business and the people who work for us. You're also supporting our carefully chosen suppliers who have high standards for quality and sustainability.
Today we're kicking this series off with our founder, Monica Watson.

What is your title and role at Berlin Skin? Founder & CEO. This means that I get to work in virtually every aspect of the business: leading the team, creating new products, marketing, accounting, events, product training, you name it! I'm never bored and I love that I get to truly live my dream every day.
Drink of choice? Morning: half decaf americano with a splash of cream. Afternoon: iced matcha with alternative milk.
What are you currently listening to? Starting to play all my favorite cozy fall albums as we head into my favorite season. Bon Iver, Sasha Alex Sloan, Taylor Swift (Evermore).
What are you currently reading? Oh man, I have a huge stack of books I’m working through. Top 3 I’m trying to finish now: Dopamine Nation, The Great Divorce, and You Are Not A Rock.
What made you want to start Berlin Skin? Helping people with their skin, owning my own business, and creating a brand that I wished existed in the world: these were the top three reasons. It has turned into so much more than I had even imagined, and I’m forever grateful for this journey.
What does self care look like for you in this season of life? Putting my health (mental, spiritual, physical) first, so that I can be the best version of myself for my family, friends, community, and business.
When you’re not working, what are you typically up to? Spending time with my sweet family, paddle-boarding, traveling, camping, reading, or in the sauna.
If you could only choose one Berlin Skin product, what would it be? This is impossible. But the Prickly Pear Face Oil is my final answer…I think.
